She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Bob” and Kathleen “Kathy” Wilson, husband, Jimmy Shevrovich, and daughter, Kristine Shevrovich. Leola married David L. Brennan in 1958, and he preceded her in death in 2011. Surviving are her son, Mark Brennan of Chelsea, two grandchildren, Jennifer Pardo, and Lisa Coyle, four great-grandchildren, Joan, Evan, Matthew, and Abigail; and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Brennan of Farmington Hills.

After retiring from the University of Michigan, she finished her working career at the Chelsea Dollar Store. The donations will be used for a memorial and to establish a scholarship fund administered by the Dexter Rotary. She had lived in the Stockbridge area since she was three years old. She was a wonderful baker, baking bread and making specialty cakes for graduation and weddings.

Thelma was born April 12, 1944 in Stockbridge, MI, the daughter of Frank and Rachel Mary Minix. She worked in the Remanufacturing Department of General Motors for 30 years.
